What it is? The cabin air filter in a car purifies the air entering the cabin through the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. The filter traps dust, pollen and other small particles, which is especially important if you suffer from allergies or other breathing problems. If a carbon cabin filter is installed in the car, then such a filter will also protect passengers from unpleasant odors. Replacement terms Recommendations on when the air filter should be replaced vary by manufacturer - as a rule, this procedure is performed every 20-25 thousand km. Check the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual for recommended cabin air filter replacement intervals. However, in dense city traffic, where the air quality is undoubtedly poor, you will be forced to change the filter once a year, or even more often.
